Alex was a keen and inquisitive child. He loved projects, because they gave him a chance to do large scale research. His last project was on ski resorts in the French Alps. Alex worked hard on his project, collecting information on skiing in Courchevel and other resorts. He also managed to get an interview with a man who had happened to ski in La Plagne. He managed to obtain information on snowboarding chalets in Val d’Isere. The project was a success, but it also achieved something else. Alex decided that he would be going to the Alps next winter along with his parents to actually try out whatever he had learnt and researched.
